Discover our campsite by the lake of Lacanau : ideal for family vacations
With an area of 20 km², the lake of Lacanau is bordered by very diverse landscapes which make the happiness of the nature lovers. The Moutchic district, located to the north of the lake, has a large and beautiful beach, while the south of the lake is home to the Pointe du Bernos and small islands. To the east is the town of Lacanau, and to the west you can visit several small villages.

Enjoy our campsite in Gironde by the lake of Lacanau
The Lacanau lake area is full of nature activities for the whole family! Nature lovers are in for a treat. Of course, you can sunbathe on one of the beaches that border the lake, to enjoy relaxing afternoons.
Fancy a canoe trip? Let yourself be tempted by a canoe trip to the wild islands of Lacanau lake, accompanied by an instructor.
You can also learn to stand-up paddle by contacting Captain Tedey, to admire the shores of the lake from a new perspective. Be careful, you will have to work on your balance! Expect to take a few refreshing dips in the lake water.
Activities by the lake
The sailing boat is also one of the main attractions of the lake of Lacanau.a Head to the Tedey Yacht Club to book a few hours on the water.
Are you more interested in cycling? From the campsite, you can cycle around the lake in 1h30, using the cycle paths.
As for swimming lovers, they can walk to the Pointe du Tedey to take a dip in the lake before lying down in the warm sand.
Relaxing on the beaches of Lake Lacanau at the campsite Le Tedey
The lake of Lacanau is surrounded by several beaches all more beautiful than the others. The beach of Grande Escoure is ideal for families. It is supervised every summer and hosts a restaurant and a sailing club. Its golden sand is particularly clean and you can sit in the shade of the trees along the road.
On its side, the Pointe du Tedey attracts particularly the amateurs of sailing. A large dune protects the beach from the wind. As for the Moutchic beach, it is also supervised in summer. It is a very family friendly beach, with a relaxing area, picnic tables and shaded lawns. Moreover, it is easy to access as there is a large parking lot right next door. The beach of Moutchic also hosts a snack bar and restaurants. There is even a safe swimming area for children and you can rent pedal boats.
The Bay of Carreyre, as for it, makes the happiness of the amateurs of photographs. It is the ideal place to come and admire the sunsets. You will also like the beaches of the city of Lacanau, like the beach of the Squirrel with its Mickey Club. As for the conches of the south of the lake, they are used as a framework for beautiful walks.
